Most people misjudge onions. But there’s a depth to them. They have layers.

I was doing some reading about onions. Did you know in folklore they protect against evil spirits? Leave an onion in a room and it’ll cleanse and absorb the negative energy. It’s like a smelly, budget version of crystallography.

Then in Greek time they got seen as a symbol of endurance. Survival. They thrive in basically any climate. And then sailors used them cause they don’t spoil on long sea voyages. And I just thought it’s mad how something we see every day and think of as unremarkable, is actually remarkable. So you’re probably wondering. Why the onion talk?
